Following these simple tips will ensure your next AeroGarden crop is as successful as possible. Whether your next garden will be from plant cuttings or an AeroGarden Seed Kit, it is critical to sanitize your AeroGarden for many reasons:
  • It will kill pathogens that are harmful to your future plants
  • Flush nutrient residue from your pump or aeration system, and
  • Clean out dead plant material that can build up in your AeroGarden

In addition to sanitizing your AeroGarden, we recommend replacing your Grow Bulbs and Pump Filter (for 7-pod gardens with liquid pumps) every 6 months. Replacing your Grow Bulbs every 6 months will ensure fuller, lusher growth and larger harvests from your plants, while replacing your Pump Filter prevents plant roots from getting entwined in your pump and causing water flow issues.
